POP FOR A PURPOSE
AVYRA is partnering with Double Good for a week-long virtual popcorn fundraiser supporting Breast Cancer Initiative East Africa (BCIEA), a survivor-led organization providing breast cancer awareness, early detection, and support to women in Rwanda. Founded in 2007 with just 27 women, BCIEA has since reached over 55,000 individuals across vulnerable communities.
100% of AVYRA's proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated directly to BCIEA.

Nourishher initiative
The NourishHer Initiative is AVYRA's community-wide food drive dedicated to reducing food insecurity among women, children, and families across Mercer County, New Jersey. By mobilizing local grocery stores, businesses, schools, and community members to donate nutritious, shelf-stable food, AVYRA works to distribute these donations to trusted local organizations already serving individuals and families in need.
Access to nutritious food is a fundamental part of health and well-being, and NourishHer builds directly on AVYRA's broader mission of advancing women's health, safety, and equity.

back to school donation drive
In partnership with WomenRising, Inc., AVYRA supported children and families across Hudson County, New Jersey as they prepared for the new school year. WomenRising has served the county since 1905, helping women and families move from crisis to self-sufficiency through domestic violence services, housing, workforce development, and family health programs.

The EmpowerHer Initiative
The EmpowerHER Initiative is AVYRA's flagship fundraising campaign dedicated to advancing women's health, safety, and equity through meaningful community action. By investing in women, we invest in stronger families, healthier communities, and a more equitable future.
Funds raised through the EmpowerHER Initiative directly support AVYRA's mission by helping provide essential hygiene products, emergency assistance, educational resources, community outreach programs, and partnerships that improve access to care for women experiencing domestic violence, housing insecurity, financial hardship, and other barriers to health and well-being.
Our inaugural goal is to unite individuals in raising $10,000, demonstrating how small acts of generosity can create lasting impact when a community comes together.
